Vidakovich has a diverse and practical knowledge of successful
business practices that span over 20 years of domestic
and international experience. He is currently under contract
which such high profile media companies as NBC-Universal
and Lifetime Television. His services are utilized by NBC
Television Entertainment; NBC News-including the TODAY
SHOW & MSNBC; NBC-Universal
International Distribution; BRAVO; USA Network; and The
SciFi.Channel. In addition he works exclusively with Lifetime
Television on special projects, and other Fortune 100 Companies.
As a Media and Management Strategist – Jim works with top level executives and their teams, as well as acting as the media strategist for many of NBC-Universals network, cable, and entertainment shows. A sampling of shows he has worked on include: The Apprentice; The Office; My Name Is Earl; West Wing; Will & Grace; Law & Order Franchise; Project Runway; Battlestar Galactica; MONK; PSYCH; Eureka; The Dead Zone, and Queer Eye For The Straight Guy. He was part of the Tom Brokaw-Brian Williams NBC News transition team.
Globally he has worked with such prestigious
companies as Schlumberger (Worldwide) and GenRe (Worldwide).
Other clients throughout Europe include: MCE (Management
Center Europe), located in Brussels, Belgium; International
Management Institute (IMI), Dublin, Ireland and Management
Center Turkey (MCT), Istanbul, Turkey.
Jim has also worked in the areas of executive
management & coaching; crisis and change management
strategies; marketing; press, publicity and promotions;
broadcast production; strategic branding; creative team
building and brainstorming; project management; facilitation
He is a former television reporter and Emmy
award winner. Jim feels one of his career “highs” was
the eleven years he spent working with Children’s
Television Workshop (CTW – Sesame Workshop). “It
provided me with the unique opportunity to develop my creative
skills in an environment full of energy and encouragement.” Sesame
Workshop is considered to be the world’s leading
producer of quality educational children’s programming,
most noted for Emmy award winning Sesame Street; 3-2-1
Contact; Square One TV; and Ghostwriter. As an executive,
he had a wide range of marketing & management responsibilities
including production, programming, branding, affiliate
relations, home video, materials design, interactive media,
print/publishing, promotions/publicity and public relations.
He was the executive producer of a thirteen-part live action
children’s television series for PBS.
Domestically and internationally he is a
sought after facilitator/consultant in developing interactive
training skills to enhance the total learning environment.
His book: Trainers In Motion: Creating A Participant Centered
Learning Experience, released by AMOCOM in July 2000, became
a best seller in the corporate training community. He’s
the co-producer of Creative Music for Learning, a two-package
music CD for facilitators to use in training, meetings,
seminars, and conferences. Jim is a popular and successful
conference/seminar/keynote and motivational speaker.
He holds a Masters Degree in Communications,
and resides in Studio City, California.
